What to Expect on your First Visit to Rosenberg Chiropractic Clinic
HEALTH HISTORY
You will be given the opportunity to complete your paperwork at home by printing our documents directly from our website in the New Patient area. If you prefer, you may complete these documents in the office on your first visit.
CONSULTATION
On your first visit, you will have a personal consultation with your doctor to discuss your health-related concerns, ask any questions and learn more about how chiropractic care can help with your specific issues.
EXAMINATION
To assess your condition, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination to assess the complexity of your condition. These tests will give the doctor the information necessary to make a comprehensive recommendation for the treatment of your specific condition.
X-RAY STUDIES
You may be referred for X-rays as necessary to support the evaluation process and to screen for any severe spinal conditions that may require additional intervention.
DOCTOR’S REPORT
On your second visit, your doctor will present a detailed report of all the examination findings and make recommendations for the treatment of your condition. You will be given an opportunity to ask any questions to help you understand all aspects of your treatment plan including:
How can you help me?
How often will I need to come in?
How much will it cost?
Your doctor will discuss any secondary recommendations such as nutritional therapy, massage therapy or a referral to see other physicians if necessary.

ADJUSTMENTS
At the conclusion of this report, you will be ready to experience your first adjustment. Some patients are nervous about their first chiropractic adjustment. Rest assured that your doctor will discuss adjustment styles that are available to suit your individual preferences and will work with you to ensure your comfort. Dependant on the findings of your exam, we may recommend additional therapies such as specific exercises, acupuncture or spinal decompression therapy.
